The Insert pressing machine manipulator is an automation equipment fitted into CNC insert production process to perform fetching, dedusting, weighing, and workpieces placing. It is designed to work efficiently for inserts with various kinds of item and sizes.


Insert shaping is performed inside the electric shaping pressing machine. To achieve higher efficiency, the pressing machine is usually fitted with the insert manipulator. The manipulator can fetch, deburr and weigh the insert, send the data to the pressing machine. Also it can clean the inserts and pick out the unqualified ones, Equipped with 12 feed pallets, the machine can realize the automatic production of insert shaping pressing.

Presently, the pressing machine market is dominated by OSTERWALDER (Switzerland), Dorst (Germany), FETTE (Germany), KOBAYASHI (Japan), KOMAGE (Germany), LAUFFER (Germany). This insert pressing machine manipulator can be fitted with models from all the above-mentioned vendors.

Ultra-high precision measurement

With the ultra-high precision electric scale (precision: +/-0.001g) from A&D (Japan) or METTLER TOLEDO (Germany), Every insert is weighed and the failed one are picked out. The data will be sent to the pressing machine instantly so that production parameters can be adjusted in real time to improve insert production consistency.

Automatic quick-changing mechanism can switch between fetching fixture and cleaning fixture to improve the insert production stability:

1.Use Linghang automatic quick-changing fixture to switch manipulator fixture.

2.Use Leadshine Stepper motor for inserts rotation and angle change.

3.Fixture types: SCHUNK parallel gripper; clamping, vacuum suction plate, unfolding and brushing.

1.Use IROBOT module+servo for inserts arranging and graphite plate piling.

2. Use flat belt conveyor line to send graphite plate to pallet piling.

3.Use SMC (Standard Motor Corporation) cylinder to centre graphite plate.

4.Use BECKHOFF (Germany) servo motor, TAMAGAWA planetary gearbox and THK (Japan) screw slide rail in the lifting module set.

5.Servo drives rotating brushes and uses high-power angular blower for dust removal.

1.Parameters of frequently-used CNC insert can be set to simulate inserts arranging result. The parameter can be saved and recalled for producing the same type of insert. 

2.The area of graphite plate not for arranging insert can be marked off for experiment.


adjusting of coordinate

Press the corresponding button when the coordinate needs readjusting. The manipulator will stop moving when it gets to the designated position. Meanwhile, the demonstrator will allow the manipulator to be fine tuned and save the required coordinate value.
